Kiley Rothweiler is an award winning writer, producer and actor. She holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and has lived in New York City since 2004. She is a member of SAGAFTRA and AEA.
Her award winning short horror film Five Star Review is now making it's rounds on the festival circuit. The script garnered the following recognitions; Oregon Scream Week Horror FF (Best Dark Drama Screenplay Winner), Filmmatic Inroads Screenwriting Fellowship (Finalist), Horror Haus (Finalist), NOLA Horror FF (Finalist), LA Screenplay Awards (Finalist), Killer Shorts (Quarter Finalist), BlueCat Screenplay Awards (Quarter Finalist), Atlanta International Screenplay Awards (Quarter Finalist), Austin Screenplay Awards (Quarter Finalist), Bloodstained Indie FF (Official Selection), Austin Spotlight FF (Official Selection), NYC International Screenplay Awards (Official Selection), Portland Screenplay Awards (Official Selection).
Kiley is a 2nd Rounder of Sundance Institute’s Episodic Lab and has taken Sundance Collab’s Screenwriting: Horror/Psychological Thriller class. She has also written sketch comedy for the award-winning improv group, The Nat Turner Revue (Boston Improv Festival, Hull Comedy Festival, Dundalk International Theater Festival), a web-series, multiple feature films and pilot scripts. Acting credits include Love Monkey (CBS), Foreign Bodies (New York Theatre Workshop), Confetti (with Katherine Wallach) amongst many more.
In addition to her creative resume, Kiley has over ten years of professional experience in event sales, planning, production, senior management and departmental operations. She applies the leadership, organization and team-building skills learned from these professional experiences to every artistic production she helms.
